Toothbrush Bracelet

Toothbrushes are meant for brushing your teeth, right? But once it's time to replace your old toothbrush with a new one, what do you do with the old toothbrush? Throw it away or store it, like I do, to find other uses for it. For instance, I use old toothbrushes as paint brushes for the kids or gently scrub fragile objects. Either way, there's a use for old toothbrushes.

Noodle Necklace fit for a Princess!
As I was getting ready to make Penne noodles for dinner, I happened to see an expiration date on the box as I was opening it up. I had no clue noodles expire! Spaghetti came to save the dinner menu. I set the penne noodles aside and figured I could have the kids make a craft instead of throwing them away.

Recycling Craft Tips

I've been crafting for many years now and I'm always crafting on a budget. So I've learned to craft new things using old objects. Using the old to give it a new life. I stumbled upon this crafty site called Crafters Love Crafts. There's tons of useful tips, projects, ideas, etc. With that said, I found Recycle craft tips that had easy yet simple recycling tips. I personally liked Tip #6 about coating burned out light bulbs and using them as Christmas ornaments. I always throw them away and never thought of actually using them once they were burnt out.

I've enjoyed viewing Crafters Love Crafts website. So many crafting projects and ideas that are fun. I will definitely be visiting them often!

Pin Cushion

Dryer Lint Pin Cushion

Mastering the craft of sewing is something I'm still working on. Surprisingly, the sewing machine and I have bonded well. Anywho, I didn't think I would need a pin cushion since I've been using the container that the pins came in. But after stabbing myself more than once trying to get pins, I've decided it was time for a pin cushion.

After doing laundry a few days ago & cleaning out the dryer lint, an idea lit up in my head! When I rolled up the lint to throw away, I thought what a great material to use as a cushion for the pin cushion I've been needing.
