I'm a mother of two wonderful children & have an amazing husband. Aside from being a mommy & wife, I wear many other hats to get through the day with a cup of coffee in hand. My life revolves around taking kids to school, doing household chores, walking our two dogs, feeding the two birds, cleaning a fish tank, working part-time, etc...you might relate to how my day goes! And I still find time to do some crafting. Crafting to me is very therapeutic. Especially after a long, busy day. I enjoy doing all sorts of crafts: scrapbooking, stamping, crocheting, sewing, painting.
I've been crafting for as long as I can remember...years...and I craft on a budget. I find ways to recycle old stuff to create new things. Sometimes just gluing a flower on a picture frame gives it a fresh new look. That simple! Now that I have children, we do alot of crafting. It's so much fun & my kids always have a great time. There's always a new learning experience with crafting and I've come to experience that with my kids. They learn from me as much as I learn from them.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog as I venture out discovering new ways to craft on a budget...by RECYCLING!
One final note, if you're not familiar with the meaning or pronunciation of my name, here's a brief explanation: It means Flower. It's an Aztec name & there's a city in Mexico called Xochimilco. Beautiful city full of flowers & gondolas. Xochitl is pronounced Sochil. Easier said than spelled, right?
Xochitl aka Xo
